The Platform

A real plan for Ward 5.

Built by listening to residents across Bolton. Five priorities. Practical solutions. No empty promises.

Better Infrastructure

Bolton's roads and services must catch up to our growth. John will push for real investment before new development.

  • Advocate for timely road repairs
  • Fix Bolton’s traffic bottlenecks
  • Improve pedestrian and school-zone safety
  • Demand Ward 5’s fair share of infrastructure investment

Community Safety

Every family deserves to feel safe. John will work with Caledon OPP and Caledon Fire to strengthen local response.

  • Safer neighbourhoods with better lighting
  • Traffic calming in school and residential zones
  • Stronger speed enforcement on cut-through streets
  • Sustained support for emergency services

Responsible Growth

Growth that protects Bolton — not overwhelms it. John will advocate for green space and small-town character.

  • Protect Humber River valley and green space
  • Growth aligned with real infrastructure capacity
  • Preserve Bolton's small-town character
  • Transparent, community-first planning decisions

Recreation & Youth

Strong communities invest in kids. John will champion parks, sports, and youth opportunities across Ward 5.

  • Invest in parks, trails and playgrounds
  • Modernize sports fields and community facilities
  • Support local organizations doing the work
  • More programs and opportunities for youth

Seniors & Accessibility

Bolton should be a community where seniors and residents of all abilities can live safely, independently and with dignity. John will advocate for accessible services and practical programs that help residents remain active, connected and supported.

  • Expand access to the $500 Outdoor Maintenance Assistance Grant
  • Improve accessibility in parks, sidewalks and community facilities
  • Strengthen accessible transportation and age-friendly services
  • Support programs that help seniors remain active and independent
