This website is operated by the John Muir Campaign ("we", "us", or "the campaign") in support of John Muir's candidacy for Ward 5 Councillor in the Town of Caledon.

We only collect information you choose to give us, including:

• Name, email address, and phone number you submit through our volunteer, lawn sign, or contact forms.
• Your address or neighbourhood when you request a lawn sign or share your area with us.
• Your availability, interests, and message content when you volunteer or write to us.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use tracking cookies for advertising.

• To respond to your questions and messages.
• To coordinate volunteer activities and deliver lawn signs.
• To send you occasional campaign updates that you've asked to receive.
• To comply with Ontario election law and reporting requirements.

Submissions are stored securely in our campaign database. Access is limited to authorized campaign staff and volunteers who need it to do their work.

We do not sell or rent your information. We may share it only when required by law, by Elections Ontario or Caledon municipal election rules, or with service providers (such as our email delivery provider) strictly to operate the campaign.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Just email info@electjohnmuir.com and we'll take care of it.
